Jingshan Park

William and I caught the subway the three stops to Jingshan park to take advantage of the clear air and admire the views of Beijing from the only "hill" in the city - made from the spoil when they dug the moat around the Forbidden City.

The view back from Jingshan Park towards our apartment is the first shot below.  We are just the other side of the two tallest buildings just right of centre. In fact, if you zoom in you can see to the right of them the building we see outside of our kitchen window, with the strange shaped top on it - sorta like a mushroom.
